Wax Lyrical was established in 1980 and is one of the UK’s largest privately owned home fragrancing companies, designing and manufacturing luxury scented candles, reed diffusers and private label collections.

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Lake District and using our considerable 30 years heritage we are continually designing, developing and manufacturing new collections to the highest standards.

We have hundreds of customers and stockists throughout the UK and overseas, from Russia, to Japan, Australia, the Middle East and Europe. We supply our fragranced products and collections to garden centres, supermarket chains, department stores and independent gift retailers. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality and style for every single product we develop. Our special relationship with some of the best fragrance houses in Europe ensures that our Wax Lyrical fragrances are true to life and use only the purest and finest ingredients.

At Wax Lyrical we employ 150 staff who all contribute to producing and marketing over 15 million products per year, 85% of which is made right here from our factory in the English Lake District.

In addition to our own Wax Lyrical collections, we have partnered with three prestigious brands, The Royal Horticultural Society, Jelly Belly and most recently Fired Earth. Using inspiration from each of these brands we are able to offer our customers a range of unique and timeless home fragrancing products.

We are proud to be members of the British Candlemakers Federation which represents candle manufacturers in the UK.  Membership of the federation ensures that the manufacturing process of our candles are set to the highest standards inforced by the European union and the UK candle industry

Here at Wax Lyrical we are proud to have successfully achieved accreditation by the BRC Global Standards which are a leading global product safety and quality certification program.
