Returns and Refunds

If for some reason our products aren’t up to scratch, you’re not happy with your order or you simply changed your mind, you can cancel your order up to 28 days after the items have been delivered to the address you specified, whether it’s the full order, or just part of it.

Returns Process:

  1. Make sure all goods that are sent back to us for return are unused and with the original packaging.
  2. Package your items up (preferably in the box and packaging materials provided on delivery) and pop your packing slip into the box, so we know who you are and can process your return quickly.
  3. As you are responsible for sending the items back to us (and for the cost of this), ask the company who are sending the item(s) for you for proof of postage, just in case the package goes missing in transit. Our returns address is: Wax Lyrical Ltd - Webstore, London Road, Lindal-in-Furness, Ulverston, Cumbria LA12 0LD.
  4. Once we have received the items, or we receive proof that you have sent the items, we will refund the cost of the product(s) back to you. The law says the refund can take place up until 14 days after we have received the goods, or proof you have posted them, but we try our best to do this as soon as we can. We will also refund the basic cost of postage back to you, using the same method that you originally paid with.

Faulty or Damaged Items:

All our products are checked before leaving our premises, but as we sell home fragrancing products, it is inevitable that items may get broken in transit. If you do find any damage with any items, we’re really sorry! Please do contact us so that we can arrange a replacement of the damaged item. You can call us on 01229 461140 or email us at info@wax-lyrical.com - simply quote your order number so we know who you are. Once your item has been returned (which of course, we will reimburse you for) and the fault confirmed you will be credited with the full purchase price of the item (if it’s not in stock) or a replacement sent out to you. If you paid by debit or credit card the card will be credited, you will need to send us proof of postage so that a refund for this can also be made. If you have a faulty item, we will often pass this to our Quality Assurance Team to investigate and we will update you where possible on their findings.

Cancellations (by us)

As much as we try to keep all our items in stock so our lovely customers can enjoy them, sometimes this isn’t possible and an item might be listed on our website but we don’t have the product available for you. Wax Lyrical reserves the right to cancel your order if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered. You will be notified by e-mail and we will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 14 days of your order.
