Shop, drink and experience scent at RHS Tatton Park Flower Show
It\'s that time of year again, when horticulture enthusiasts flock to Cheshire for the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show. In amongst the plethora of gardens and floral displays will be works of art, masterclasses, shopping, wine tasting, live music and even entertainment for the kids. Here, we give you a rundown of the best bits you can look forward to at this year\'s show.
Photography Masterclass with Clive BoursnellCapture those beautiful moments in your garden and treasure them forever with this photography masterclass from Clive Boursnell. Clive started as a freelance photographer in 1969 and has had his work in publications from Vogue to Country Living. Being a hands on class, this is great for getting tips from a pro in a garden setting. From seeing the perfect shot, to lighting and composition, Clive will show you how to get the best of your shots. The sessions are 2 hours long with one in the morning and one in the afternoon, so you won\'t miss out! Find more information and other masterclasses, click here.
Saturday is Family DayWho doesn\'t love the BFG? Roald Dahl\'s creation of large proportions features at Tatton Park Flower Show as a show garden. In the garden, there will be various activities, such as The Dream Library, where you can share your hopes and dreams for the future, gardens created by twenty different schools based on their favourite musicals, storytelling and even seed sowing. All the information about Family Day can be found here.
Art, Sculptures and BubblyBeautiful sculptures provide a slower paced sanctuary during this show, where you can sit back, relax and take it all in. We\'ve heard there\'s a champagne bar nearby... it\'d be rude not to a have a glass, surely?
The VineyardWho doesn\'t love a bit of wine tasting? This section of the show gives you the chance to find out more about viniculture and horticulture, especially with the latest wave of English wines that have burst onto the scene.
Shop \'Til You DropIf you\'re walking around the show, taking everything in and you\'ve seen that must-have flower that would compliment your garden perfectly, then buy it! Over 100 plant breeders and specialist nurseries will be in attendance to give you all the advice, and of course plants, that your garden will need. Why not try and recreate one of the displays in your own garden?
Find Your Favourite FragranceIf you\'ve found a scent you adore but your garden is full to bursting of scent already, why not bring the fragrance indoors with a scented candle or reed diffuser? From the classic Rose scent to the musky notes of Soft Cotton and the therapeutic English Lavender, we\'re sure there will be a scent that suits your home perfectly. Display your scent with style with our RHS Sweet Pea crackle glass collection, from oil burners and tealight holders to pillar candle holders and hurricane vases.
